We like Sandbridge beach for several reasons. First of all it's much less crowded than Oceanfront. The waves and views are great. There are two large public parking lots where you can park for free off season or for $1 (for locals) during the hot summer months. Secondly, its the road to the Sandbridge. Coming from Norfolk/Virginia Beach, we take Indian River which goes through the country side and woods, very curvy and fun to drive. Finally, its a great place to come with a bunch of friends: grill, play volleyball, frisbee, fish,swim and tan. |
